Training Runs

Wednesday Nights

Weekends

The Pacers have training runs scheduled on every Wednesday  night.   In the summer the format is usually trails with roads available to the weak of ankle.  The runs are usually 5 to 7 miles in length and consist of packs of various ability from the "Type A" competitive runner to the "Gossipers" who schlep along and try to catch up on the latest tidbits.  Afterwards we usually gather at a neigborhood eatery for a heavy dose of grease and a few pitchers of Yuengling.   These runs start promptly at 6:15 p.m.  The schedule is posted in the newsletter every month or by calling the hotline (610-375-1903)

Wednesday Night Schedule

Weekends have gone to the Rats, usually on Saturday and Sunday, the legendary Pacer Rat Pack gets together for Trail Runs.  The best way to describe these runs is not in terms of miles but by the hour.  These runs can vary from 1 to 4 hours in length.  They are not for the weak of ankle, and many times you will need to carry your own water with you.

The rats have trouble planning what they are going to wear when they get up, so there is no formal schedule.  The runs usually start at 8:00 or 8:30 a.m. You Must Call The HOTLINE to find out where these runs will take place.  Some people go for breakfast after these runs
