Group Runs


This Monday (5/29) - Memorial Day Holiday Run!! 

We meet at Nolde Forest Environmental Education Center at the Sawmill Parking lot on select holidays at 8:30AM for a group run. ALL PACES are welcome! Walkers, this means you too! We generally run for an hour.

If the lot is full (please do not 'make' your own space!) there is additional parking up on Church Rd, and you can run down to the Sawmill lot via Kohout or Sheerlund/Watershed trails

Berks Women in Crisis will take anything that will help women and children. Clothes, toiletries, food/snacks, diapers, toys, cleaning supplies.  Anything!!!  Please give what you can--it DOES NOT have to be a new item--anything helps!!!

Tuesday, May 30th, some Pacers will be on WEEU Good Afternoon Berks Country at 4.00 pm approximately. We will be talking about all things Pacers. People are allowed to call in with questions.

Road Runners Club of America Runner Friendly community!
City Of Reading, PA has once again been marked as a Road Runners Club of America Runner Friendly community! Along with 14 other cities and towns, all were designated for their community working together to promote running as healthy exercise for residents while ensuring runner safety. We are very proud to be part of a community that embraces physical activity and having running being a part of their active lifestyles and goals!
 


Business Meeting

This Thursday June 8th, our monthly meeting is at Blind Hartman's Tavern (2910 Pricetown Rd, Temple, PA 19560). Note,  Just come in the right-side doors instead of the left if you park in the rear lot. 

Food will be served @ 6:30 pm
Business Meeting starts @ 7 pm

Our Mission

The Pagoda Pacers Athletic Club promotes physical fitness and public wellness. We conduct athletic activities in our community, organize competitions, social gatherings, and educate the public on physical fitness and wellness. We promote participation in the sports of running, cycling, duathlons, & triathlons. We also encourage members to be more than just athletes by conducting a variety of social and civic activities in the Reading, Pennsylvania area.
