Join us, Saturday, September 4, 2010 (The Saturday of Labor Day Weekend) when the Pagoda Pacers will host our first annual Run For the Ages 10K Trail Chase in Nolde Forest State Park. The race uses an age graded start where runners start in waves using a handicap based on age and gender. This means any age group competitive runner may win the race. This race is one of few, if any on the east coast, modeled after the famous Dipsea Race in California (the oldest trail race in America). VOLUNTEER INFORMATION: Click Here
Nolde Forest has some of the nicest running trails in Pennsylvania! Unique awards provided from Nolde Forest Pottery and gift certificates from Chester County Running Store in Pottstown. Tech runner style race hats and environmentally friendly tote bags to all competitiors. 300 runner limit so enter early. A portion of the race proceeds benefit the Friends of Nolde Forest to help maintain the facilities, trails and programs in Nolde Forest.

2010 Marks the 30th year the Pagoda Pacers Athletic Club has been in existence. We are a club devoted to physical fitness, athletic competition, health & fellowship. We promote participation in sports such as running, cycling, duathlons, & triathlons. We also encourage members to be more than just athletes by conducting a variety of social and civic activities in the Reading, Pennsylvania area. We are currently the 2nd largest Running Club in Pennsylvania (confirmed by the Road Runner’s Club of America); the largest is the Lehigh Valley Road Runners.
