Group Runs

Wednesday Evening Training Runs

The Pacers have group training runs scheduled every Wednesday night. In the summer the format is usually trails, but road options are also available for those who prefer a smoother surface. The runs are generally one hour in length, and consist of varying levels of ability and pace. Walkers are also welcome and encouraged!  After the run, we usually gather at a neigborhood eatery. These runs start promptly at 6:15 p.m, unless otherwise noted. Each month, the club donates locally to a charitable organization.

Aug 22 Antietam High School (roads/trails) eat at Klinger's on Carsonia  ***charity run benefitting local animal shelters!!!!
Aug 29  Trout Run (Exeter) trails.  Eat at Duane Renninger's residence  238 Sunrise Rd, Exeter
Sept 5  Mike and Donna Gallen's residence 833 Wyomissing Bolvd Mohnton  (trails and roads)
Sept 12 Mike Whalen's residence 701 Pony Rd Mohrsville (road and trail options)
Sept 19  Steve McGuire's residence 515 Brownsville Rd (across the street from Ganley's)---trails!!!!  ***charity run benefiting local animal shelters!!!!
Sept 26 Liz and Jeff George's residence 50 Smoketown Rd Mertztown. (trail and road options)
Oct 3 Jason Bailey  117 Hill Rd, Blandon  (road run)
Oct 10  Ken and Jenn Seale's residence 23 Par Lane, Bernville (Blue Marsh trails)
Remember, those who host put in a lot of work in order to be prepared for many guests.  Please make it a point to attend and please bring your favorite food and beverage.  Even if you forget to bring sometime--come out anyways--there is always enough for everyone!!!!!
***the charity run benefiting Berks Women in Crisis will take anything that will help women and children. Clothes, toiletries, food/snacks, diapers, toys, cleaning supplies.  Anything!!!  Please give what you can--it DOES NOT have to be a new item--anything helps!!!

7:00 Damsel Pro, Tamara Peffer will discuss situational safety awareness, developing personal self-defense strategies for safe times outdoors. General business meeting will follow

Meetings are held the second Thursday of each month @7:00 pm.  All are welcome

Our Mission

The Pagoda Pacers Athletic Club promotes physical fitness and public wellness. We conduct athletic activities in our community, organize competitions, social gatherings, and educate the public on physical fitness and wellness. We promote participation in the sports of running, cycling, duathlons, & triathlons. We also encourage members to be more than just athletes by conducting a variety of social and civic activities in the Reading, Pennsylvania area.
