Group Runs


Wednesday Evening Training Runs

The Pacers have group training runs scheduled every Wednesday night. In the summer the format is usually trails, but road options are also available for those who prefer a smoother surface. The runs are generally one hour in length, and consist of varying levels of ability and pace. Walkers are also welcome and encouraged!  These runs start promptly at 6:15 p.m, unless otherwise noted.

In the summer we are going to have post-run hosting taking place!!!  Please bring your favorite food, beverage, or dessert!!!  Also, bring a lawn chair and kick back and relax!!!

July 9: Run from Pagoda City Brewhouse, 101 N Carroll St, Reading
July 16: 401 Walnut Street (Mt Penn Trails)!!!  Post-run at Tobias Frogg
July 23: Blue Marsh (State Hill boat launch); Lisa Domeshek hosting post-run at 364 Sweitzer Rd
July 30:  Neversink Mountain (park on the street near the intersection of S 27th Street and Fairview Avenue, Mount Penn) -- post-run at Liberty Taproom

PLEASE NOTE: You do not have to be a member of the club to join us for a Wednesday night run. Come on out and meet us, run with us, and check out all that we have to offer. If you would like more information about the Wednesday Night Run, or if you need directions, email Phil Lechner.

General Membership Meeting

The Monthly Membership meeting will be held on Thursday July 10th, 2025 
 
Mohnton Fire Company Social Quarters, 100 E Summit St., Mohnton, PA 19540.  The meeting is upstairs. Enter the front door and go up the stairs to your left. There is no need to ring the buzzer for entry.   Food and drink at 6:30 p.m. Meeting starts at 7:00 p.m. All members welcome. Members are responsible for purchasing their own beverages.
 
 
Meetings are held the second Thursday of each month @7:00 pm.  All are welcome

Our Mission

The Pagoda Pacers Athletic Club promotes physical fitness and public wellness. We conduct athletic activities in our community, organize competitions, social gatherings, and educate the public on physical fitness and wellness. We promote participation in the sports of running, cycling, duathlons, & triathlons. We also encourage members to be more than just athletes by conducting a variety of social and civic activities in the Reading, Pennsylvania area.
